The Capital Projects Management Department is responsible for the engineering, planning, documentation and construction management of Boston College’s Capital Improvement Plan
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support to Project Managers with updated project statuses, schedules and budgets
- Maintain updated records of project changes as they develop over the project cycle
- Assist in the coordination of all construction phases (Precon through Punchlisting and Close-out)
- Generate, review and submit RFI’s RFP’s & CD’s for processing through their respective departments
- Track and adjust project costs, schedules and scopes to report project progress effectively
- Attend daily meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes
- Develop spreadsheets to organize and present information to an individual or team
- Estimate project construction costs (labor, equipment, materials, etc)
- Coordinate the hiring and scheduling of subcontractors and various trade workers
