Position Description:

The Integrated Services Co-Op performs all tasks related to Reality Capture (laser Scanning) and Virtual Design & Construction under the supervision of the Reality Capture Manager and VDC Manager. The co-op is responsible for performing and assisting with laser scanning data capture, Building Information Modeling, MEP Coordination, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control. The co-op will assist project teams through the use of 3D software such as Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, and other various tasks such as logistic planning, 4D simulations, and clash detection. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work in a team/collaborative environment
  • Works independently and able to make decisions with limits of authority
  • Laser Scanning – data capture, registration, testing, and increasing workflow efficiency
  • Building Information Modelling – existing conditions modeling, design model enhancement, creation of logistics, mockups, and 4D animations
  • MEP Coordination – clash detection, model administration, trade and field coordination
  • QAQC – assist in document/checklist control, standardization, documentation of on-going work
  • Visualization and Marketing – creating of marketing materials and presentations
