Ch. 74 Engineering Teacher

JOB DESCRIPTION:
● Employ a variety of instructional techniques to engage all learners
● Deliver innovative and experiential lessons, units and projects which align to the MA CVTE Frameworks in Engineering
● Develop meaningful relationships with students that foster learning and self-actualization
● Provide targeted whole group, small group and/or individual instruction regarding a variety of Engineering principles utilizing computer software, robotics, mathematics, electronics, etc. in a technology-rich environment
● Foster competition and achievement by supporting SkillsUSA activities
● Maintain and foster on-task student behaviors through effective classroom management
● Maintain timely record keeping via X2 (student information and grading system), and electronic student competency tracking
● Provide after school assistance to students per contract and as needed
● Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement
