Beals Associates Inc. is seeking an entry level Civil Engineer for our downtown Boston office. We are a land planning, engineering, permitting and project management firm offering a broad range of services across the Real Estate industry. Our firm places an emphasis on client advocacy and high-quality service throughout our range of clients. The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Civil Engineering
- EIT certification or ability to obtain within six (6) months
- Familiarity with Autodesk software, specifically Civil3D, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable working efficiently within small teams
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to continue learning throughout their career
- A personal commitment to excellence and desire to grow within the firm
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
The selected candidate(s) will work with a project team leader to gain skills in the field of land development with exposure to numerous projects in various stages of design and permitting. Opportunities to work on projects from the conceptual phase all the way through construction phases will be afforded to the candidate(s) on a daily basis. Typical projects include commercial, industrial and multi-family development projects across a broad range of private client entities. Day to day assignments will include collection and analysis of data for project support, contributions to the preparation of permit level and construction documents, and assistance in preparation of technical reports.
