Atlantic Sintered is a leader in the metal working industry. We are seeking an Industrial / Mechanical Engineer for our 220+ employee manufacturing business located in Wrentham, MA.
The ideal candidate can be a recent Mechanical or Industrial Engineering graduate. The candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking manufacturing environment. Compensation will be based on experience level with an additional pay for knowledge bonus.
Atlantic Sintered manufactures powder metal parts for the automotive, truck and industrial markets. Many of our customers are future 500 firms. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, solid models, and project plans.
- Determining manufacturing process requirements by working with teams on the floor.
- Proficiency in mathematics and data analysis.
- Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to exceed customers’ expectations.
- Ability to coordinate and work independently.
- Ability to travel nationally.
- Excellent interpersonal & time management skills.
- General understanding of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and vendors.
- This position starts with understanding the bid and our manufacturing process. Depending upon the candidate’s ability to learn our process, can quickly transitions into a customer facing position with bonus potential.
