Arcadis is currently seeking an Entry-Level Water Engineer to join our world-class firm in Wakefield, MA!

Role accountabilities:
As an Entry Level Water Engineer, you will have the opportunity to evaluate, plan, design and support the management of projects related to water/wastewater/stormwater treatment and conveyance including pipelines and pumping facilities.
In addition to traditional engineering solutions, you will need to be involved with identifying and advancing green infrastructure and other nature-based solutions to address stormwater quality and quantity. You role will also include assessing, developing, and supporting the management of sustainability and resilience projects.
As an Entry-Level Water Engineer you will have the chance to exercise judgement on the details of your work and make preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. This position will offer valuable hands on experience in the field of water engineering, allowing you to develop your skills and contribute to meaningful projects.
In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, you will also be accountable for:
- Performing fieldwork activities such as site visits, construction inspection, sampling, water quality analyses, asset inventory, flow monitoring set-up and monitoring, and technology evaluations.
- Supporting Asset Management projects performing data analytics, operational and organizational assessments, condition assessments and overall performance evaluations of water/wastewater/stormwater facilities.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials, and participate in client meetings.
- Using digital tools to enhance customer experience, team and client collaboration, and project delivery including configuration and deployment of SharePoint, Geographic Information System (GIS), Building Information Modeling (BIM), Power BI, and Augmented Reality, as well as designing and managing databases and cloud-based computing services.
Qualifications & Experience:

- Self-motivated and team-oriented, with the ability to work successfully both independently and within a team.
- Strong technical writing ability and educational background.
- Ability to balance and address new challenges as they arise.
- Knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, and practices related to water/wastewater/stormwater.
- Excellent technical aptitude with a familiarity/ experience with CAD, AutoCAD, Revit.
- Must have a drivers license and ability to get to remote job sites for work.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a closely related field of study.
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT or ability to obtain EIT shortly after starting at Arcadis.
- Prior work/internship experience at a design or consulting engineering firm or municipal work environment.
- Experience using AutoCAD and Revit, ArcGIS.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $59,800 – $89,700. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
