This Co-op position is to work under the direction of project engineers and team members to assist in the inspection of bridge and tunnel projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
This Co-op position is to work as a team member in the Boston Bridge and Tunnel In-Service Inspection program. The position will involve both office and field related tasks and designed to develop a professional working knowledge of standard techniques and procedures under the direction of senior staff.
Responsibilities could include the following:
-Development of field forms
-Field work involving hands on inspection of bridges, tunnels, and/or parking structures throughout Massachusetts. Documenting field observations and findings
-Assist with data entry, editing and creation of drawings and table/charts
-Report writing
-Some night work
Preferred Skills/Experience:
-Experience with CAD programs such as AutoCAD is a plus
-Experience with Excel is a plus
-Valid Divers License is a must
-Having OSHA 10 hr. is a plus
