We are looking for an enthusiastic architectural and engineering intern to provide support for our Transportation and Water/Wastewater Design Groups in both the Boston and Chelmsford, MA offices. Under the responsible charge of a Registered Professional you will:

•             Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out design tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.

•             Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives

•             Prepare related calculations, write reports, develop drawings and visual aids

•             Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member

Must Have Skills/Experience (Including any required Certifications):

•             Strong desire to learn along with professional drive

•             Solid understanding of various architectural / engineering techniques

•             Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•             Knowledge of MS Office Programs

•             Knowledge of design software (e.g. Autodesk Civil 3D, BIM, Microstation, Inroads, AutoTURN…)

•             Passion for the design industry and its best practices

•             Current enrollment in a BS architectural or engineering program
