Kelly Hutzell, AIA, is an Associate Professor and the Director of Graduate Programs in Architecture at Wentworth Institute of Technology and a Registered Architect. Prior to joining Wentworth, she taught at Carnegie Mellon University for a decade, both in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the branch campus in Doha, Qatar. Her teaching and scholarship focus on the intersection of urban design, graphic design, and interaction design. Her research documenting the urban transformation of Doha has been published in the book Al Manakh: Gulf Continued, in AD Magazine: UAE and The Gulf: Architecture and Urbanism Now, and is featured on her website 4dDoha.com. In collaboration with over,under and CMU, Kelly launched an award-winning digital guidebook to Pittsburgh, with plans for more cities to follow. Kelly has a MSAUD from Columbia University and a BArch from Roger Williams University.
