Applications Open: Summer Housing for Tech Interns in Greater Boston

TechGeneration is a selective summer residential internship/co-op experience designed to help college students make the most of their time in Massachusetts’ innovation economy. The program combines significantly reduced rate housing in the heart of Boston with a curated community, ecosystem exploration, and professional development experience, allowing students to engage in their internships/co-ops while building skills, networks, and a clearer pathway into full-time careers.

This program is for students who have secured (or are pursuing) a tech-related internship in Massachusetts. This opportunities is offered in partnership with Boston University, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University and the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative.

For students who secure a tech-related internship in Massachusetts, TechGeneration offers:

• Significantly discounted housing in the heart of Boston, removing one of the biggest barriers to accepting internships in the region;
• A built-in cohort of peers, creating an immediate social and professional network;
• Weekly programming led by Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, and Boston University alongside industry partners, covering topics like AI, entrepreneurship, climate innovation, and leadership;
• Direct exposure to Massachusetts’ innovation ecosystem, including connections to employers and leaders across sectors like robotics, fintech, and digital health;
• A resume-enhancing experience designed to help students stand out and translate internships into full-time opportunities.
