Preparing International Students for Co-op & CPT

This workshop is designed to help international students navigate the process of securing a co-op and understanding Curricular Practical Training (CPT). Co-facilitated by International Student Services and Co-ops + Careers, this one-hour presentation will cover key topics such as eligibility for CPT, how co-op integrates with your visa status, and tips for successfully landing a co-op position.

Attendees will also learn about the resources available to support them through the application process. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session, offering personalized advice and answers to your specific questions.

Attendance is mandatory for students pursuing their first CPT authorized co-op in spring or summer 2025, or graduate students seeking internships. It is optional for all other students. Both sessions are the same, so you only need to attend one. If you attended the September workshop, this workshop is the same.
