Small Group Interview Practice session

Join two advisors from the Co-ops & Careers office for a supportive small group session to practice your interview skills.

We’ll begin by having everyone share their ideal or anticipated interview setting. In other words, what job are you preparing to interview for, or hoping to interview for soon?

Next, each participant will take turns picking a typical interview question from a basket and responding to it as best as possible. After your response, you’ll have the option to briefly reflect on how you feel you did. Then, the other participants will provide feedback on how your response came across to them.

This process will continue until everyone has had at least one opportunity to practice. If time allows, we’ll go through a second round of questions and feedback.

Think of it as a dress rehearsal for your interview, helping you feel more confident and prepared for the real thing.

This session is focused on behavioral interviews (rather than technical interviews) and is geared towards students who will be interviewing for co-ops starting Spring and Summer 2025.
