Element’s Interior Design internship program offers a multi-faceted experience where creative and technical skills are used in a project-based environment.
This Internship Program is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with meaningful work, while developing your skills, and building your network. The internship has an estimated start date of August/September and an estimated end date of December with the flexibility to accommodate for classes.
What you will do:
Support the design team throughout each project phase
Assist with presentation materials for clients
Produce architectural detailed CAD drawings
Conduct site visits for field measurements and documentation
Generate 3D renderings utilizing multiple software programs
Furniture and material research, selection, and ordering
Maintain the interior/architectural library
Requirements:
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in interior design
Coursework or experience in user experience and user interface design
Must have a well-designed portfolio and resume
Strong knowledge of 3D rendering and Adobe Creative Suite programs (Sketchup, Revit, InDesign, Photoshop)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, and Mac OS
Creative mindset with a positive attitude
Self-starter, able to meet deadlines and go the extra mile
