Job Summary:
Marguerite Concrete is a full-service union concrete construction firm founded in 1989. We work throughout New England on a diverse array of private and public projects, from industrial and utility work to multi-family housing. We employ approximately 500 carpenters, laborers, ironworkers, and equipment operators and own and operate a large fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Assistant Project Managers have a unique opportunity to learn the business from some of the best in the industry as they support our Senior Project Managers in all aspects of managing concrete construction projects.
Qualifications:
Students pursuing Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Technology, and Construction Management degrees are preferred.
Individuals who have proven they can excel individually and in team settings in the office and on the construction site. Superior written and verbal communication skills, respect for colleagues and clients, a positive attitude, and a solid work ethic are essential for success in our organization. Must be familiar with construction plans, specifications, submittals and shop drawings, quantity take offs and estimating, and be competent in the use of construction management software including MS Project, CAD, Revit, Sketchup, Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office.
Physical and Environmental Conditions:
Work requires the ability to walk or otherwise access unpaved, undeveloped, rough terrain and ascend/descend heights. Work environment requires travel to various construction project sites. Project sites can be dusty, dirty, hot/cold, and noisy, heavy equipment is often present. Work requires wearing safety equipment including hard hat, safety shoes and safety glasses.
