Monitoring the health of your Windows Server environment is a key part of managing a Windows Server-based network. In this course, instructor Robert McMillen shows you how to use available Microsoft tools and services to keep Windows Server 2022 running properly and, if needed, take steps to diagnose and resolve common issues.
Develop your skills in Windows Server 2022 to:
- Install Active Directory and Domain Join in Windows Server.
- Leverage the full range of free built-in Windows tools so your server can withstand any possible disaster.
- Manage servers, clients, resources, hardware, users, storage, and files using Microsoft tools such as Management Console, Windows Admin Center, Active Directory, Server Manager, Computer Management, File Server Resource Manager (FSRM), scheduled tasks, and PowerShell remoting.
- Monitor server performance using PowerShell remoting, Windows Performance Monitor, the Event Viewer, Task Manager and Azure Resource Manager, Windows Defender, Windows Admin Center, and the Reliability Monitor.
- Maintain servers with Windows updates, Windows Server Update Services, baselines, disk tools, Task Scheduler, and Windows Server Backup.
